County League – Divisional Finals Sat 27th August 2022
Hatfield Ladies qualified for the Finals Day and had to play Oakhill in the first semi final match at Harpenden Bowls Club who hosted the day. The win in this match ensured that Hatfield played in the Final in the afternoon against a very good Welwyn & District team. Hatfield Ladies won – Congratulations to all!
Hatfield will now play the winners of the East division on Sunday 18th September at Royston where the North and the West will also play. The winners of both matches will play in the afternoon to decide the eventual champions!
It was a very enjoyable and hot day at Harpenden who served bacon rolls, tea and coffee on arrival and laid on a lovely buffet lunch.

National Finals at Leamington Spa
After all the Commonwealth Games action in Leamington, Victoria Park will host the National Championships Finals from 25th August through to the 18th September.

Semi Finals of the Men’s Team Ten competition at Hatfield on Saturday 30th July 2022
Hatfield hosted the semi final between Baldock and Mill End while Welwyn Garden City hosted the other semi final between Royston and Garston. Baldock were the winners at Hatfield and Royston were the winners at WGC. Baldock and Royston played in the afternoon at Welwyn & District and Royston were the eventual Hertfordshire winners! Long day of bowling for some who then went on to play in the County Finals on Sunday!
