Hatfield Ladies qualified for the Finals Day and had to play Oakhill in the first semi final match at Harpenden Bowls Club who hosted the day. The win in this match ensured that Hatfield played in the Final in the afternoon against a very good Welwyn & District team. Hatfield Ladies won – Congratulations to all!

Hatfield will now play the winners of the East division on Sunday 18th September at Royston where the North and the West will also play. The winners of both matches will play in the afternoon to decide the eventual champions!

It was a very enjoyable and hot day at Harpenden who served bacon rolls, tea and coffee on arrival and laid on a lovely buffet lunch.

Thank you to all the supporters who came along!

Want to play bowls??

Did you see any of the bowls at the Commonwealth Games and think you might like to try this game? It’s pretty addictive once you give it a go and it really is a sport for all!

At Hatfield we have some great facilities for both outdoor and indoor bowls, a great bar and lounge area and a full calendar of social events, not to mention friendly and welcoming people!
